ABOUT MICHAEL
My name is Michael. Although I am not an ordained minister and do not have an advanced degree in theology or ministry, I do have a deep desire to help others learn, grow, and mature in their Christian faith through an active and vibrant relationship with the Word of God. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Practical Christian Training, which, along with several mentorship opportunities within my local church, provided me with early experience teaching the Bible. After graduating from college, I spent the first ten years of my professional career in education, teaching and coaching middle and high school students, as well as working in my church's youth ministry. But, for the past two decades, I have served in various roles within the heavy-duty diesel and transport refrigeration industries. While my knowledge of God's Word does not come from formal seminary training, I believe that God has more than adequately prepared me to serve in the capacity of a biblical counselor. Through capable mentors, rigorous personal study, reading numerous books, and various online seminary courses, I've been given the tools to exegete God's Word properly and assist others in their growth towards Christlikeness. He also placed me in the demanding world of the diesel trades, which has provided me with invaluable life experiences that profoundly shaped the trajectory of my faith by furthering my dependence on the Word of God alone, for "all things that pertain to life and godliness." -- 2 Peter 1:3
